Tilting pad Journal bearing: Maverick tilting pad standard bearing sizes start from 30 to 300mm, higher sizes and nonstandard bearing sizes are available on request
- Standard L/D 0.4, 0.7 and 1.0. Tailored bearing L/D can be provided on customer request.
- Standard Maverick bearing has a steel housing manufactured in halves, double dowelled and fixed together by socket head screws. Housing bore consists of standard 5 pads or 4 pads pivoted either centre or offset based on shaft rotation. Housing provided with anti-rotation pin for radial locking.
- End baffles are open type for forced lubrication application and closed type for flooded lubrication. End baffle outer diameter either extended type for axial locking or shorter OD available for non-axial locking. End baffles are bolted to bearing housing with spigot for locking pad axial movements.
- An axial grooves provided on bearing housing centre for oil inlet circulation.
- Pads are locked with the help of stop screws over the pivot and housing.
